We serve within a 10 mile radius of the clinic. We make things easier by bringing the clinic to your home. If you are struggling to get moving post injury or due to disability we will come to you.
BOOK NOWIn your first session the physio will take a full medical history and a history of any related injuries. We will then conduct a physical assessment, which will help us determine the factors that have caused or are contributing to the injury or pain. The physio will look at joint range of motion and muscle strength, and conduct specialist diagnostic and functional tests. We like you to leave the clinic with a good understanding of your condition, so education is key. We aim to have you on the road to recovery within the first session.
We often see patients who have had long-standing pain. As pain is multifactorial, the physio will help you to map out any causative factors with an aim to minimising their influence. We will design an individualised, progressive program to help you manage your pain and restore quality of life. Management may include strengthening weak muscle groups, building more resilience or overall conditioning. It will also include education to help you understand your pain and its triggers so that you can make lifestyle changes as necessary.
We specialise in rehabilitation of knees, shoulders and hips after orthopaedic surgery, which could have been due to a traumatic injury or an elective joint replacement. We like to see you early following surgery to accelerate recovery, and to get you back to normal function, strength and fitness as soon as possible. Early treatment is proven to accelerate improvements in strength and range of motion, and get you back to full function quicker!
BOOK NOWAs a sportsman myself I am very passionate about sports physiotherapy. I take great pride in rehabilitating sports people so that they can get back to doing what they love. After 8 years of pitch side rugby cover (sometimes 3 games a week) there aren’t many injuries that I haven’t seen. I’ve had the benefit of being present from the moment of injury right through to full recovery, so I have a good understanding of your experience and how to guide you through it.
